ICT Technicians

Applicants should have at least an advanced diploma in IT or telecommunications or related fields.

Experience

At least 2 years work experience in a busy institution. Those with working knowledge of fibre optic cables and wireless networks will have an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide ICT support to staff, students and visitors using the ICT facilities

  • installing, configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware operating systems and applications

  • monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks

  • conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment

  • update and upgrade software

  • any other duties as assigned from time to time
