Profile

Winfred Mkochi is Associate Professor of African Languages and Linguistics at the University of Malawi. He has authored several articles in local and international journals, especially in the field of linguistics. He is also author of Another Train Derails, a poetry anthology. He attended the University of Malawi in Malawi and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Norway. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Cape Town and a Fulbright Research Fellow at the State University of New York at Albany in the USA. He has also been to China and Ivory Coast for study purposes.
