Jonathan Shadreck Gwaligwali is a Cartographer working with Chancellor College in the department of Geography and Earth Sciences. Born on 2 October 1964. He comes from Linga Village in the traditional Authority Mwase, Kasungu district, Malawi. He holds diploma in Geo-informatics obtained from ITC, University of Twenty, The Netherlands. He has vast experience in cartography, geographic Information Systems(GIS) and Remote Sensing. A member of African Academy of Languages (ACALAN), a specialized institution of the African Union(AU) tasked with the responsibility to promote African Languages. Co-Author of a Comprehensive Atlas for Primary Schools. Currently working in the GIS laboratory, teaching practicals in spatial data collection, data analysis, map production and carrying out data research and verification activities to ensure the information collected is accurate.
