Ms Dinah Katonda has a nine-years of experience of teaching at the University of Malawi education She also has experience on curriculum development and review at primary and tertiary levels. In addition, she has also served primary and secondary school teacher and also as a Senior Education Methods Advisor (SEMA) for Primary Schools for 5 years (2009-2013) before joining Chancellor College, University of Malawi. She has also been in a position of Deputy Head of the Department of History at Chancellor College from 2016 to April, 2021. Dinah has also worked as a Trainer of school heads during implementation of School Leadership Program, a component of Malawi Education Sector Improvement Project (MESIP). She has also worked as a National Core Trainer of trainers for Primary School Improvement Program that trained District Capacity Building Teams in South East Education Division from 2011 to 2013, Trainer of trainers of Malawi Teacher Professional Development Strategy (MTPDS) in literacy and numerical skills in primary schools from 2010 to 2012. She has also been one of the champions on Role Modelling sessions organized and conducted in conjunction with Zomba District Council Youth Office, Zomba Urban, Zomba Rural and Mangochi Education Districts aimed at inspiring and mentoring girls in secondary schools in these districts.
