Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Language and Communication Skills (Academic Literacy)

Applicants should posses at least a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics/English Language Teaching such as Teaching English as a Foreign Language/Teaching English as a Second Language/English for Specific Purposes/English for Academic Purposes or any related discipline with at least a credit at both Bachelors and Masters’ degree level.

Duties

1. To give lectures and tutorial instructions;

2. To set, administer, and mark continuous assessment examinations;

3. To set, mark end of semester examinations, and submit grades timely to the Head of Department.

4. To contribute to the growth of the department and the university through research and scholarly publications.
